As a homeschooling mom time management is something I had to learn very early if I was going to continue running my household in an efficient way. I have constantly had to learn short cuts in housework, meal planning, meals and on and on. What I have learned to do is make dinners during the week that need an hour or less total time from prep to cook to table. I save the weekends for new recipes I want to try and for cooking more elaborate meals. So, I thought I would share some of my weekly recipes here. All of these recipes require one hour or less to prepare and cook. The only exception to this would be slow cooker recipes. The slow cooker is my best friend and it is a huge time saver, in my opinion. I will probably have a separate section for these type of recipes, but the prep time will still be less than an hour.
I suppose I should write something about myself, but honestly my life is kind of boring compared to some of the other blogs I have read in the past few years. My name is Vanessa and as I am sure you have gathered I am a SAHM and I homeschool our 15-year-old daughter. I enjoy cooking, collecting recipes, listening to Christian music, and reading.
I have not got a clue what I will do with my time once my daughter leaves for college, hopefully something will come up. I’m fortunate that I don’t have to work for a living but I may decide to go back to work later. Well, that’s about it, I told you it was boring.
